B for Bedi-sm

Spin great Bishen Singh Bedi simply speaks his mind.

Here’s the latest:

Offie, Harbhajan Singh and leggie, Pragyan Ojha are playing with either full or three-fourth sleeves on. bedi questions, “why aren’t they playing with half-sleeve shirt?” He grins with a question-mark like expression!

Few years back, he compared Muralitharan’s bowling action with a javelin thrower. In the cricketing context, He has expressed his reservation with the word doosra.

This is Bedi’s holistic take on doosra:

Q: What is doosra?
Bedi: The other man in a women’s life is doosra. The other woman in a man’s life is doosri. So basically doosra is unethical, immoral, and illegal.

Albeit lucid and not disjointed!
